We are having a baby girl!!!! She is due December 30 (Justin's birthday). We're actually hoping she is late and born in January, just so that it is after all of the holiday craziness. She will be Maggie Dillard Plessinger. I boo-hoo cried when I found out we were having a girl. I couldn't believe it, but in a way, Justin and I both were feeling like it was going to be a girl.
Jacob is doing great. He is definitely in a bit of a clingy phase for Mama. He's still walking all over, and is getting faster at walking. He loves his brother.
Logan is stinkin' adorable. He loves on his brother... especially when we are out and about, he is always making sure Jacob is around. In the grocery cart, they usually sit in a little car, and Logan often times has his arm around Jacob. It seems that at home, Jacob is following Logan, but if we are out and about, Logan will be following Jacob.
We drove to Mississippi for the Fair. It was a decent drive, all things considered. We drove almost the entire way the Thursday before the Fair, and then only had one hour to drive on Friday morning. So we got to the Fair at 9:30am on Friday morning.... an all-time record for me. We had all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then we left on Monday. We had a great time! It was super hot, but we had prepared ourselves mentally, that it actually wasn't as hot as it could have been. Logan loved riding the rides at the Midway.... he even rode the Dragon Rollercoaster with Jackson. I couldn't believe it!! I was so proud, lol!
Justin was able to get in a little golfing this past month, so that is always good for him.
Our basement is underway to having it finished. We are getting super excited! There has been a lot of decision making in the last 2 weeks and some of it has been hard to figure out exactly what we want. But I think that we are in some sort of rhythm now, and it feels like we are starting to roll along. It should be great timing with Maggie coming in late December. They are estimating that the basement is done mid-late November, so that will give us about a month to move the guest bedroom furniture from Maggie's room to the basement, and to get the basement and nursery ready before her arrival! Eek! Yay!!
We are heading to Michigan tomorrow for our family vacation for the year. (The previous two years we took Logan to Ft. Myers over my Spring Break.) We are going to Michigan with the Martins: Matt and Lisa and their kids, Liam (3 years old) and Estelle (1.5 months old).
