The Avonlea Way: Logan- 15 months old

Logie is a little sweetheart. He is loving the warmer weather so that he can walk around outside! He's been walking around the neighborhood and we have gone to the park a few times. He LOVES to explore. Yesterday we went to the park and there was this little trail through the woods that Justin and Logan went exploring on. Logan wasn't satisfied though and he had to explore off the trail, through the woods.

A few weeks ago, we headed to Hide-A-Way Hills to visit Matt and Lisa and their 2 year old son, Liam. We had a great time and Logan went sledding for the 1st time. Logan seemed indifferent the entire time, but I think he was just soaking it all in. Justin and I had a lot of fun and we like to think that Logan did too :) Justin got a little crazy for my taste... he had Logan go down the hill face first on a separate sled from him! Justin had his feet on Logan's sled and was on a little saucer right behind him! EEK!! Logan seemed indifferent to that as well, haha!

Logan has been loving playing basketball. After he shoots into his little basketball hoop, he looks back at you to make sure you applaud! He is really becoming quite the little b-ball player!

He also loves pointing to lights and is trying to say light. He actually likes to point to nothing in particular and make a random little noise like "Bu". He also loves going up to the window where we have the bird feeder and point out the window and say "Bu"... we think he is trying to say bird.

It's been really fun lately to see how much he understands. He is understanding a lot of what we say. We can ask him to go get something and if it is something that we use the name of a lot, he will go get it. It's amazing how much he already understands!

Logan has some serious molars coming in on the top and bottom. They are almost all the way in, so we think he is feeling better now that those are almost in. Poor little guy!

Justin and I had a fun night out to see Fabulous Johnson Brothers. They are just a little local band that we used to try and see "back in the day". Mom and Bill watched Logan and it was a really fun night out! They didn't start playing until 10:30pm! We danced a lot:)

Yesterday we went to Wal-Mart and got Logan a little lawn mower. I'm excited to see him out there with Justin in a few weeks. Justin also was excited to get him a little bat and tee ball saying "it's never too early to start!" haha. We'll see how that goes :)
