Logan has had a busy summer!
Food: Logan has been eating baby food (all kinds) and a few puffs here and there. He also has started using a sippy cup on occasion. He only gets a few sips from it though.
Sleep: He goes to bed at 8pm and is sleeping until 6:30 or 7am. I will go get him at 7am, if he's not up by then.
Camping Trip: Logan had his first camping trip at the end of June. We went with Matt and Lisa Martin and their 15 month old son, Liam. Logan was a happy little camper... quite literally! We had such a nice and relaxing time. The only negative was that it got down to 47 degrees at night, but we saw that ahead of time so we bought a propane heater and definitely relied on that little heater!
Norris Lake: We had a great time in Norris Lake with Mimi and Bobby and Paul's crew and Molly's crew. We rode around on the boat a lot and Logan really enjoyed it... he usually ended up falling asleep :) One evening we were in for the night and somehow Bill and I ended up deciding that we should go ski... then Paul joined in too, and we decided we should all try and slalom at the same time! It was on the FIFTH try that we all got up! The sun was almost down, so we got it in the nick of time! It was so awesome!
The Fair: Logie had a great first Fair!! He was such a trooper with the heat. With it being so warm he seemed a little lethargic. Then we would take him upstairs in the AC and he would perk right up and then get lots of energy. He strolled through the flea market, the petting zoo and around the race track. He also enjoyed swinging on the front porch swings! And of course, he got to meet lots of family members. Gray, who is almost 3 years old, (Logie's 3rd cousin) said "he's so cute!" several times. She was so sweet with him.
More on Logie: In the last week he is has been scooting/doing an army crawl! It's amazing to see that every day he makes progress on going further and further. From Monday to today (Friday) he keeps making advances. It's crazy how quickly thing can change.
We finished his "playroom" this week. It feels SO good to have that room be functional. It is a small den in the front of our house, and it was turning in to a pit! So I'm glad I got it organized before school starts.
