The Avonlea Way: Maggie 3, Jacob 4, Logan 6

Mid-January was so much fun with having the Dees family in Ohio for a Belated Christmas celebration. It was so much fun having the gang here since the only time most of them had been was for our weddings (mine and Molly's). Just 4 days after the Dees Christmas, Justin got really sick and then all of the kids got fevers too. After that I was sick. It turned out to "just" be a sinus infection, although I was tested for the flu. After the kids had fevers, then they all got a quick stomach bug. We had 4 out of 5 nights with a kid vomiting in the middle of the night. It was a bit rough. It was almost 3 weeks straight of someone being sick. We are all healthy now!!! Hallelujah! This morning I did my 12 mile run that I missed last week, so that was good. I feel really pumped about that. I feel like my marathon training plan was a bit derailed for 2 weeks, but I am back on track!

Jacob and the water monitor.... we went to the zoo yesterday. It was so much fun. It was cold, but almost no crowd. It was the least crowded that I had ever been there. Pretty neat... and we still saw a good number of animals.
