September 28- November 3, 2022

October was a fun-fill-Fall month! We've had some really great weather! This last week wasn't the greatest, with most of us sick. But besides that, it's been a nice month.

We had parent-teacher conferences and had some pretty wonderful comments from the teachers about all 3 kids. That was so wonderful to hear.... because you never know how they act for other people. ;)

I think the pics can do the rest of the talking....

Halloween Camping- Magical Pumpkin Ride

Josh (Waldo) and Tommie (Minion)

The Whole Halloween Camping Crew- a chilly, but fun weekend! Mid-October :)

Justin's team building manager day went to tour the Ohio Stadium :)

Jacob's flag football season was a success. Justin coached the team and they did so well. They won the last game by one point. It was a fun season and Jacob enjoyed it.

Penny getting ready for her first vet visit since she was a kitten. Maggie helped get her in the carrier.

Maggie at gymnastics. She is moving up levels to Pre-Team this coming Tuesday.

Jacob won the medal at flag football.

Cowboy and Cowgirl

We've been enjoying watching Lego Masters as a family. Such a fun show (Maggie is only halfway in to it.)  Lego Masters has different themed nights and this night it was Rodeo night, so we wore our cowboy hats while we watched the show.

Trick-or-Treat! Wyatt (fighter pilot) and Logan and Jacob

Getting ready for the pic

Beautiful sunset with neighbors. Watched the Buckeye game outside with the Finneys and Jason and Jess

Playing Memory (Paw Patrol version). Maggie is easily the best player. She remembers where something was from 15 times ago.

Carving pumpkins- a beautiful warm evening. The kids love the goop!

Dad is in town!! Cap City for lunch on Friday. Vince took the day off.

Maggie was with me at the vet. I didn't even notice her sideways thumb, but she said it was because we didn't know if Penny liked the vet yet or not, haha!!

Trunk or Treat at Arrowhead (the kids elementary school).

Halloween Camping Trick-or-Treat

Lehner's Pumpkin Patch on a Friday without school. The kids loved these bouncy things.

:)

Justin and Jacob's special lunch at Rooster's. We decided we need to do more one-on-one things with the kids. (Even just a few times a year.)

Shopping for Mags. She didn't have many clothes for winter coming. This was more than we typically get, so it was fun and special.

Molly, Barrett and Ashley for our 20 year reunion.

Maggie and Daddy date. Waffle House for breakfast.

Jellystone Halloween Camping Weekend :-)

Jacob made a Halloween book. I thought this witch was so good!

Cuddly Penny with our new Fall Kitty blanket- meow!

Logan and Mama date at Chili's! We got the kid's molten lava cake for dessert. Logan (the chocolate monster) said it was TOO chocolately! I couldn't believe my ears.

Logan's last football game. Missi came with Mimi and Bobby!

Katie, Lauren and I on my first trail run. It's called Rocks and Roots for a reason.

Lehner's Pumpkin Patch drink break :)

Maggie's new jammies that came with a matching doll jammie set. We only have one baby doll left in this house (because Maggie always prefers animal-inspired toys), but she found this doll and got her dressed so quickly!

Heading to Waffle House for their date. Maggie wanted to wear her "high heels."

Maggie with pig tails and bows in her buckeye cheerleading uniform. I love it so much!

Halloween Camping Bingo!

More of Penny!

Juliet joins in (Maggie couldn't trick or treat this year, because she was sick.)

Mags

Dad in town! The first night, Molly cooked her chicken and wild rice casserole. It was so good! For the second night, we went out to dinner at Kitchen Social. So yummy!

The trial run. It had sooooooo many roots and with the leaves being half down, it made it very hard to see all of the roots. I had one giant "trip" but caught myself. It was a 6.3 mile loop. Around mile 5, I completely fell. Luckily, I did the tuck and roll and wasn't hurt at all.

Jacob loves this look: Cowboy hat, with robe and Mickey slippers. He mostly sleeps in just his underwear, so this is how he will come downstairs a lot of mornings. Haha, I love it!!

Jackson at States- he came in 7th- soooooo incredible!!!

Maggie made a Halloween book too (after she saw Jacob make one.)  :)

We went to see Lyle Lyle Crocodile with Blake and Jackson (Maggie has her heels on again ;) )

Pumpkin Patch had bunnies to hold.

Making posters at home

Jacob's drawing of our family. And some neat handwriting for him!

Rodeo Night- Logan's the bull!

Magical pumpkin ride with Estelle and Lisa

Carving Pumpkins

The kids at Halloween Camping

Jacob has this trick he was showing us that he learned from YouTube. Next time you see him in person, ask him to show it to you. It's about "touching the wall and your elbow."

Painting ceramic pumpkins at Jellystone.

Jacob's flag football team

Trunk-or-Treat with some PTO friends

Jacob was very in to these big Legos at the pumpkin patch

We have been sick for the last 5 days or so. Logan got sick a week before and was dizzy for about 2 days and had a fever for one day. Then a week later, Jacob and Maggie got sick. Maggie's seemed worse, so I took her to Urgent Care (bc the pediatrician was so booked up, that they couldn't get us in). Anyway, they couldn't do much for us at the Urgent Care, but they did test her for Covid. Then once we get home, I get a call from them and they told us that she has the flu (Influenza A). It's pretty early, so we hadn't gotten any flu shots yet. Anyway, then Justin and I got pretty run down too. Logan's been healthy this last week, but the other 4 of us have been fairly sick. Finally today (Friday, Nov 4) we have definitely turned a corner.

Martin and Justin

Smallest 20 year reunion ever. There was a miscommunication about the start time, but we went back later around 10pm and got to see about 25 people, which was really fun!

The Cowboys and Cowgirls (Maggie got in to the zombie makeup with Estelle, so her lips are a bit intense ;))

Logan, Maggie and Jacob's pumpkins. Logan and Jacob did their pumpkins pretty much entirely on their own... they drew their designs on paper first. As you can tell, Maggie did not do hers on her own, lol. She picked out her design though, and Super Daddy came to the rescue! I was beyond impressed.

Reading the Magical Spell to turn the pumpkin seed in to a pumpkin while we make on loop on the hayride.

20 year reunion- part 1: Ashley, Nakia, Emily, Barrett, Kreg

Drink Break at the Pumpkin Patch

Jacob and Jack- Cowboys and buddies at camping

Daddy and Maggie at the rodeo!

Jacob always getting dressed up

Buckeye Game outside- Logan and Maggie
