Quarantine Life Continues for now- Logan 6, Jacob (getting closer to 5) and Maggie 3

We don't have many updates. We are just continuing on with this Quarantine thing. We will slowly begin to loosen things up as businesses begin to open up.

Logan completed Kindergarten (at home) which was pretty crazy. He did great though. He's totally ready for 1st grade. We just need to keep him reading this summer. He loves when I read to him and I have heard that that really helps with reading as well. We just started the Magic Tree House series. They are very short chapter books that are slightly above his reading level.

There is a lot of speculation about what school will "look like" in the fall. Will they go full time or part time? Will there be at-home instruction again? It is way too early to tell, so I don't even bother with thinking that far ahead.

The Finneys rented a house in Florida for the month of May. We went to join them for about 5 days. It was sooooo nice to get away! It was very chill and just perfect!

Pics are out of order.

Run done!

BEACHIN' IT with the Finneys and Gallaghers.

Big waves!

Painting. Jacob is so crafty and always has a vision for what he is creating. His creativity amazes Justin and I almost daily. The things he creates are so cool.

I ran in Florida every day that we were there except the day that we arrived. It felt great to run in the warmer weather.

Blue Button Jellyfish and Man-of-War - apparently neither are technically jellyfish but a colony of organisms or something

Logan became a swimmer!! He wore floaties before this trip to Florida. He is still very much a beginner, but he really began to swim during this trip. I was so excited for him!

Jacob  painting a rock that we found at a park.

I had to get in on the fun!! The kids are biking and a bunch of my runner friends are riding on Sunday mornings together on road bikes or hybrids. Bikes are sold out EVERYWHERE, so you have to stalk Facebook, which is what I did. So I got this hybrid today. I am so excited to putter around with Logan and hopefully go on the occasional longer ride with the girls.
